By exploring this website, you can download a voter registration form, print off an early/absentee ballot request form, and find out where your polling place is located. You will also be able to obtain election results from past elections, review maps of local political sub-divisions, and connect to websites of political parties. In addition, you will also find the names and addresses of elected officials who represent all or parts of Madison County.

The Election Commissioner’s office conducts all federal, state and local elections within Madison County. This office also maintains a database of all registered voters in Madison County, is responsible for recruiting and training over 165 poll workers for each election, and locates polling locations for 19 voting precincts within the county.

A citizen of the United States

Where can I register to vote? What is the deadline for registering to Vote? Do I need an ID to vote? Where do I vote? Do I have to vote at a polling place? If I don't want to mail my ballot in where can I drop it off? What if I moved since the last election? How do I change my political party affiliation?

You can change your political party affiliation by completing a new voter registration application and selecting your new affiliation. This can be done by mail or in person at the Election Office. If you wish to vote in both partisan and nonpartisan primary elections you must indicate a political party affiliation on the registration form. If you register without a political party affiliation (independent) you will receive only the nonpartisan ballots at a partisan primary election.
